What is the Unclouding project?
The Unclouding project is a simple, accessible, and creative approach to improving wellbeing. Using elements of mindfulness, positive psychology, and the ‘wellbeing recovery action plan’ model, to create a straightforward wellbeing guide for all. With a focus on plain language and simple illustrations, we make it easy for anyone to support their own wellbeing or to use the resources to help others. By promoting a clear and simple approach to reducing negativity and filling up on positivity, the Unclouding resources can help individuals improve their resilience, mood and enjoyment of life.
The book
The Unclouding book has all the resources you need to improve your own wellbeing or to help someone else. Step by step, sections of the book focus on how the stories that we tell ourselves can lead to stress and unhappiness, why none the less, we continue to feed them and how we can respond to them differently. In addition, the book supports the reader to create an inventory of all the things that make us feel good, so that day by day, we can build up our wellbeing resilience.
Presentations
Unclouding presentations are designed to support those working in a teaching environment. Each presentation is a snapshot of the key information from each section of the Unclouding book. Presentations can be watched together and used as a springboard for discussion and activity.
How to use the resources
For those who wish to use the Unclouding resources to help support the wellbeing of another person, we have produced a worksheet of supporting information to accompany each section of the book and presentations.
